Special Policy

Special Issue Policies

The special issues aim to gather authors and readers on specific topics, to build a community of authors and readers to discuss the latest research and develop new ideas and research directions in various fields of animal sciences.

The Editorial Office of Animal Reports invites proposals for special issues on emerging and significant topics within the fields of wildlife, animal production, and veterinary sciences. We welcome guest editors with a strong research background and an interest in advancing scholarly discussion through curated collections of high-quality papers.

All types of manuscripts are acceptable in this special issue (article, short communication, review, short review, and editorial). The manuscripts should be submitted through the online submission system and will follow the same guidelines and editorial workflow as regular manuscripts. The pre-evaluation and handling will be performed by gest editors of the special issue in collaboration with the journal editorial team. Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except preprint and conference proceedings papers). The accepted manuscripts will be published continuously in the current regular issue and highlighted in the special issue page.
